Well I don't know
what to say. Don’t have that much time but this week was great! We spent most
of it in Phnom Penh. We did exchanges, I got a little sick, swam biked in the
good old Phnom Penh rain, and on Thursday and Friday we had Sister's
Conference. ALL the sisters in the whole mission gathered together and we
watched women’s conference. It was amazing!! And then on Friday we had a
question and answer panel with all the Sisters. The senior couple sisters
answered the questions. I received a lot of answers and wisdom from them for
the mission and after the mission. I also grew a lot of love for them and for
the other sisters. I also learned that literally all the sisters in this
mission, no matter the age are all so good, so strong and converted to the
gospel. This mission is one that is special. I feel honored to be amongst these
saints in Cambodia, both missionary and not. This is a sacred place, a place of
God's work. I also grew more love for President and Sister Christensen if that
could even happen. I have the best mission president. I really do. They have
changed my life and I am honored.
Also at zone
conference, President asked me to bear my testimony, even though usually the
dying (going home) missionaries do. I thought I was free since I’m dying next
zone conference. But, I bore my testimony of my Heavenly Father and it was one
of the most spiritual, truth testifying moments of my mission. I know He is my
Father and I am His daughter.
Investigator update. We didn't get to spend much time with them this week because we were in Phnom Penh:
Ming Kumon is still on fire.
Ming ta and Kuntia
are the cutest and my favorite.
Eng Lay still no
church (she comes to all the baptisms) but way awesome.
Let us be ARTICULATE
AND DISTINCTIVE in our discipleship in HAPPY WAYS (Sister Eubank)
Much love to you
all, Sister Mortell
Funny moment: this Ming
bore her testimony yesterday and pulled out her phone and shared with us this
random YouTube music video. Luckily the branch president told her to put it
away
Gross moment: about
